Embedded Institute Free AI prompt pack

Training notice

Embedded Institute field manuals, code examples and AI prompts are training material. They exist to teach how embedded systems behave and fail, so you can make better decisions on your own designs.

What that means

  • Examples teach a concept. Code, register settings, timing figures and configurations are simplified to explain one idea. They aren’t production code and aren’t validated for any specific microcontroller, board, toolchain or product.
  • Your system is yours to evaluate. You’re responsible for checking your part’s datasheet, reference manual and errata, your toolchain’s behaviour and your product’s requirements, and for applying the appropriate design, verification and safety measures before you rely on anything you learn here.
  • AI output needs your review. The AI prompts help you review code faster. Every answer an assistant gives must be verified by an engineer who understands the system; the prompts don’t make that output correct.
  • Not a substitute for standards or certification. Nothing here is a functional-safety, security, regulatory or compliance assessment, and following it doesn’t make a product compliant with any standard.
  • No warranty. The material is provided as is, without warranty of fitness for any particular purpose. Embedded Institute isn’t liable for outcomes of applying it to real systems.

If something in a manual looks wrong for your part or use case, trust your datasheet and your own testing, and tell us so we can correct it.
